The Designs

#1

This was the last of the original five designs I drew for daniel(ink.). Its is no longer available.
The Designs

#2

While this design is no longer available, it does have a special place in my heart, as being the forth original design created by daniel(ink.). Look down a little bit though, and you might see how there's some life in this old dog yet.
The Designs

#2.1 Sunglasses

This design is my personal favourite, as I'm a self confessed Kylie Minogue fan. I saw a picture of her in a hat and glasses and it inspired me to adapt #2. I sent Kylie a couple of these t-shirts and she was so generous to sign one and return it. Thrilled much? Yep! Also, just quietly, Scarlette Stevens from San Cisco wears one too.
The Designs

#3 Red Lips

This was the third design made for daniel(ink.) and the red lips still put a smile on everyone's face! It's also a winner with a few peopple you may know too – Joel Madden, Neil Finn, Danny Bhoy and Jordy from San Cisco.
The Designs

#4

This was the second original design made for daniel(ink.), although it is no longer available.
The Designs

#5 Head

This is where it all began – my first ever design! I drew this at TAFE for a screen printing project and as they say, the rest is history. Firends like it and daniel(ink.) was officaially born! While it is no longer available for adults (kids can still rock this original design), we keep it on the website for sentimental reasons. AFL player, Justin Westhoff, signed this for me.
The Designs

#6 Owl

This design came from a school etching project and I rediscovered it in the depths of my wardrobe. Customer always ask. "What bird is that?" It's an owl, of course! Josh Thomas signed this design.
The Designs

#7 Eyes

Baby's got blue eyes! For the ladies, this design is often bought as a gift for their partner. Bill Bailey signed this design.

#8 Self Portrait

Recognise anyone? This is a self portrait in linocut! Very handsome, I hope you'd agree. This design suits a nice leather jacket, I think!
The Designs

#9 Alice the Cat

There are cat lovers and there are cat lovers. You'll recognise them instantly wearing this design. Oh, and the powerful blue songstress Abbe May has this in her wardrobe.
The Designs

#10 Toby The Dog

This T-Shirt is sooo popular! I think it's the way Dad sells the story. He was the first to see the hidden pictures in the design and loves telling the tale. Sorry if he gets a bit carried away, he does love a good chat! Have a closer look and see if you can work out the secret images hidden within the design...
The Designs

#11 Apple Face

This design was created wih my art mentor Antony Muia. My goal was to come up with four new designs for my business and this was the first of four. The original art piece was drawn with charcoal on a huge piece of paper on the floor. I started by drawing an apple and then added a face. Naming the design was an incredible struggle, as you can imagine.
The Designs

#12 Egg Man

The was the second piece of art I created with my art mentor. I was doodling in the kitchen and working on an egg-shaped design and this is the result.
The Designs

#13 Skeleton Heart

The third piece of art I created with my mentor. This design was originally in an old sketch book from TAFE which Antony helped me bring to life.
The Designs

#14 Golden Girl

The forth and final design piece I created with my art mentor. It's no longer available for sale, but it;s an important piece of at in my history and in the history of daniel(ink.)

#15 Skate Girl

After Channel 10 did a news piece about my work, a global company called Bont Skate reached out and commissioned me to make a one-off art piece for them. This design was in their store for 12 months before returning home as a permanent fixture at daniel(ink.)
The Designs

#16 Sausage Party

I was surfing channels one day and came across the trailer for the 2016 film Sausage party. I couldn;t stop laughing and came up with this sausage design.
The Designs

#17 One Love

I travelled with my sister and father to New York for a market where we saw a Picasso exhibition. Inspired by his wok, I drew this in graphite.
The Designs

#18 Christmas

One of my amazing fans told meI should do a Christmas design , so I came up woth this! The original version is always available, but I update it each year to make it even for festive.
The Designs

#19 Plant Person

My father Ivan, was travelling through Turkey wearing daniel(ink.) shirts and ket getting stopped by people asking about them. While there, he bought a woven pillow cover and inspired by that design, I drew my plant person.
The Designs

#20 2020 Vision

I drew this during Covid-19. I worked on the idea of someone removing a sad face to reveal a happy face. I ran a competition to name the design, originally titled Mask Man, and 2020 Vision was the Winner!
The Designs

#22 Disability

This design was initially created for Ability WA's 70th anniversary, although it didn't make the cut. Instead, I made it my own with help from local artist Trenton Harris. Each element represents a different disability.
The Designs

#23 Fishes

This design was made in a Cyril Jackson art class when my art lecturer, Loretta, gave us an exercise to draw in charcoal with our eyes closed. Afterwards, I joined the lines up, coloured it with pencils, and this design was born.
